Ms. Griffith's Communication Arts class traveled to Patriot's Place this week, where they had a chance to present publicity plans to the Patriots PR staff. Congratulations to our girls for making Ursuline shine!

RAD Course has been Rescheduled
The Rape Aggression Defense Course that was cancelled due to snow has been rescheduled. Classes will meet after school on May 16, 17 and 18. Those who registered for the March class are automatically enrolled; any student who wishes to cancel her registration should see Dr. Muldoon. There are still spots available for UA students, who will receive preference, but if any mother or sister of a UA student would like to enroll, please contact Dr. Muldoon to indicate your interest. (Sisters should be at least in seventh grade.) See course details here.

Lunch Program Reminder
Please check your daughter's lunch account balances periodically to be sure there are funds available for their use. In addition, please check your spam mail for emails that may have been sent via MySchoolBucks for low balance reminders. All senior lunch accounts need to be paid in full prior to senior service. Please see our website for further details on the lunch program and ways to fund this account.

Relay for Life Volunteers Needed
The American Cancer Society is hosting their second annual Relay for Life of Parkway event from Friday, June 2 at 6 p.m. to Sunday, June 3 at 6 a.m. at Catholic Memorial High School in West Roxbury. Relay For Life is an overnight family-friendly event that honors cancer survivors, remembers loved ones we have lost to cancer and allows the community to fight back through fundraising. Students and their families are invited to join Team Ursuline by registering online at www.RelayForLife.org/ParkwayMA. Please note that this is an informal event: Ursuline will not be providing chaperones, permission slips, or transportation for this event. Ursuline Students Volunteer at James Joyce Ramble

Thank you to all of the students and staff who turned out for the James Joyce 10K Ramble in Dedham last Sunday, helping with set-up, registration, course direction and clean-up.  In addition, the Ursuline face painting table was busy from start to finish, and the UA bear was a hit with the thousands in attendance. The volunteer coordinator of the Ramble was both appreciative and complimentary of the girls assistance.

Consider donating an item to our silent auction.  All proceeds support the athletic program at Ursuline Academy and donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
