General Financial Aid Policies and Deadlines
Ursuline Academy (Dedham) uses the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment tool (click to be redirected to their site) to guide financial aid decisions. Ursuline Academy awards aid based on the apparent need as calculated by FACTS and other factors. At no time has Ursuline been able to provide 100% of the apparent need and in most cases, significantly less. Ursuline understands that many families make sacrifices to provide their daughter(s) with an Ursuline education.
The method that FACTS follows to estimate each family’s financial need requires the submission of most recently filed tax information.
- If needed, adjustments are made for earned-income determined by changes in the amounts shown on 2011 W2s and as compared to 2012 W2s. Applications are not complete until FACTS is provided with copies of all 2012 W2s.
- Families who derive any part of their income from self-employment must also provide copies of their final 2012 year tax returns. Applications are not complete until FACTS is provided with copies of the final 2012 tax returns.
Note: If a sister of a current student is an applicant, the financial aid application must be submitted in accordance with the New Applicants’ process above.
Financial aid questions should be addressed to the Business Office via
email. Applications and supporting documents must be submitted by the dates indicated. Admission decisions are made without regard to requests for financial aid.
