Kristen Hickey '13 has been offered a Division 1 athletic scholarship to play lacrosse at San Diego State University.
Last Thursday, November 15, Kristen signed her letter of intent to join the Aztecs women's lacrosse team next year! Her mother, Karen Hickey, and Marisol Henderson, the UA lacrosse coach, joined Kristen for the letter-signing ceremony in the Ursuline gym. Kristen is a three-sport athlete at UA, and her teammates from soccer, basketball and lacrosse all came to the ceremony to cheer her on.
"I know it has been a dream of Kristen's to play a Division 1 sport in college, and I am so happy and proud to witness this dream come true for her," Mary Ferrucci, Director of Guidance, said at the signing ceremony.
