As a community of faith, Ursuline gathered on Monday, May 21 to pray for Taylor Manning, one of our 7th graders, who passed away on May 19. We had several speakers at the prayer service who were available throughout the week to minister to our school community: Fr. Oscar Pratt and pastoral grief counselor Mrs. Fran Hauck, both from Holy Name Parish in West Roxbury, Marlene DeLeon P '04, a pastoral chaplain, and Dr. Wanda Camacho-Maron, a psychologist from the Dana Group. Each day, we will actively support our students with prayer, activity and guided discussions.
