Dear Ursuline Families,

Over the weekend, we had the opportunity to celebrate the many achievements of the Class of 2021 -- how fitting to have 75 remarkable young women graduate in our 75th year!  Our graduates provide inspiration to those who follow behind them -- once again, every graduate is off to a four-year college or university to pursue her passions and interests, and they are as diverse as the members of this class. They are a spirited, funny, smart, and creative group, and it's bittersweet to send them on their way. We wish them Godspeed and ask that they remain connected to Ursuline, and one another, as they bring their Serviam spirit to their new communities.

In anticipation of a new school year, planning has been underway for quite some time.  We are heartened by the indicators from state and local agencies that we can expect to operate in a mode more similar to pre-pandemic conditions. Please take a moment to review the attached document (Reflections on a Challenging Year) to gain a sense of our plans for the fall.  The school calendar for the upcoming school year can also be found here, to help your family with plans for the months to come.

Over these past 16 months, we were each given a role in a surreal period of global history.  As we wait for the annals of history to be written, I hope that every member of our community recognizes the remarkable strength, creativity, and resiliency that we've seen in one another.  We truly have much to celebrate and be grateful for -- most importantly, each and every one of you.

Here's to a summer blessed with good health, laughter, and time with those you love!

Gratefully and in Serviam,
