Two Ursuline Seniors are National Merit Finalists

Ursuline Academy seniors Caroline Crooks of Dedham and Hamsa Shanmugam of Hopkinton have advanced as Finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program, and are eligible to be considered for a National Merit Scholarship.  Scholarship winners will be chosen from the group of finalists based on abilities, skills, and accomplishments, including the finalist’s academic record, information about the school’s curricula and grading system, recommendations and a personal essay. Finalists will be notified this spring if they have been selected to receive a Merit Scholarship award.  Photo left to right: Ursuline Academy Principal Mary-Kate Tracy, Hamsa Shanmugam, Caroline Crooks, and Ursuline President Kate Levesque.
