Ursuline students bring cheer to White Oaks Cottages with a "Christmas Caravan"
UA Communications

On December 11, Ursuline students brought Christmas cheer to White Oaks Cottages, a memory care facility in Westwood, in a "Christmas Caravan." Over 20 cars filled with Ursuline students and parents left Ursuline on a Friday afternoon with cards and letters for White Oaks residents and staff members to spread cheer and help keep spirits high during the pandemic. Ursuline students have frequently volunteered at White Oaks, so when the Student Council realized that residents wouldn't be able to have visitors during the holiday season, they coordinated this service project to create a COVID-friendly way to deliver cards and Christmas spirit. The residents and staff really appreciated the caravan, with a staff member saying "that you even thought of us made a difference."
