Victoria Veator, a rising junior from Bridgewater, advanced to the quarterfinals of the 118th Massachusetts Women’s Amateur Championship on August 11 at Plymouth Country Club.  Veator was seeded 18th in the tournament, but eliminated the number two seed to make it to the quarterfinals.  The tournament continues on August 12, and concludes with the finals on August 13.

Veator was a leader this year for Ursuline’s golf team, which won the North-Central-West Sectional Tournament at Nashawtuc Country Club.  The team ended the season by finishing fourth at the state tournament on June 29, where Veator finished second overall.
