Tuition Assistance Program

Families should note that the actual cost of educating each student at Ursuline Academy exceeds the cost of tuition by $3,000.  We are grateful for the support of the extended Ursuline family, including alumnae, benefactors, foundations and current parents, who help to support our Annual Fund each year to offset this cost, which in turn, keeps the tuition affordable.

We work with FACTS Tuition Management for grant and aid assessment. Each year, Ursuline Academy awards need-based tuition assistance to approximately 26% of our students. These grants are awarded to qualified students based on their parents’ submission of the FACTS application for financial aid.  These grants are tuition assistance awards, and as such, they are considered a gift and therefore there is no obligation to pay them back.

Interested families should not be deterred by cost. We encourage prospective students to submit both the application for admission on Ravenna and the tuition assistance application through FACTS. Applications for admissions are reviewed for admission and scholarship eligibility concurrently by the Admissions Committee. Applications for tuition assistance are reviewed separately by a Tuition Assistance Committee to determine eligibility. Notifications for scholarships and tuition assistance are released upon admission so your family can make an informed decision regarding enrollment.

To apply for Tuition Assistance, please follow the instructions below.

Please note that Tuition Assistance awards are not automatically renewed, and parents must re-apply through FACTS for each subsequent year a student is enrolled.
