Ursuline Academy is an independent, Catholic, college preparatory school for young women in grades 7-12. Founded in 1946, Ursuline Academy in Dedham operates under the sponsorship of the international network of Ursuline Sisters, the oldest religious teaching order devoted to the education of young women.

Our Admissions team welcomes families for tours throughout the year, and we sponsor events designed for students to explore our campus, sit in on classes, and to get to know our community. Ours is a holistic approach to knowing each student as we review qualifications for admissions. With over 40 years of experience in admissions and enrollment management at both the college and secondary school level, Cathy believes firmly in the strength of an all-girls' Catholic education to empower young women, helping them to find their voice and to discover their passions. She promotes a thorough, transparent, and equitable admissions process focused on knowing each candidate and their family individually. She strives to enroll and support those students who will embrace and further our mission while also finding academic and personal success.

Sue Curlett, Assistant Director of Admissions

Sue brings nearly two decades of experience in the admissions field to her role as Assistant Director. She is passionate about fostering relationships and promoting an inclusive community as she guides families through the admissions process. Sue enjoys working with student ambassadors and her colleagues to create a welcoming environment that reflects the missions and values of Ursuline Academy.

Molly McDonald '19, Admissions Associate

A 2019 Ursuline graduate, Molly joined the enrollment team in 2023 and she brings her passion and enthusiasm to this role each day. A proud alumna, Molly knows firsthand how transformational an Ursuline education can be for young women. It is her goal to help each student recognize her gifts as she discovers Ursuline - and the community Molly credits for encouraging her to become a confident, poised, and compassionate young woman.

As a parent ambassador and volunteer for her own children's private schools, Abby joined Ursuline two years ago as a member of both the admissions and advancement teams. She works directly with our parent ambassador program, helps organize events, and enjoys meeting with prospective students and families to talk about the amazing opportunities available at Ursuline Academy.
