Society of the Seven Stars
A recognition of alumnae who graduated 50 or more years ago from Ursuline Academy
Each year at Reunion, members of the 50th Reunion Class and any other alumnae from previous years are invited to a special luncheon where they are inducted into the Society of the Seven Stars.
Like our foundress St. Angela Merici, and all of the generations of women who benefited from her inspiration and guidance, you are part of a legacy of wisdom, service, and solidarity that continues to this day. We stand on the shoulders of all who came before us, and honor your part in Ursuline's history and commitment to the core values of our community: respect, compassion, intellectual curiosity, and a dedication to service.
The seven stars on the Serviam shield represent Ursa Minor, a reminder of Saint Ursula, our patroness and inspiration for Saint Angela Merici. The stars light the way for our ongoing commitment to our mission and determination to live with faith, courage, and joy!
