Message from the President and Co-Principals

Please read the following statement about Wednesday's prayer service from President Whiting and Principals Ferrucci and Tracy.

Dear Parents and Friends,

Following in the footsteps of our foundress, St. Angela Merici, Ursuline Academy is dedicated to fostering a community committed to peacemaking in our homes, our communities and our world. We stand in solidarity, prayer and action with the young people of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, who have so courageously sought meaning in their grief by advocating for change regarding gun violence in the United States. This Wednesday, March 14th, has been designated as a nation-wide, student-led, walkout to draw attention to gun control and school safety. During Activity period on this day, the entire Ursuline Academy community will unite together for a prayer and action service organized by our Student Council to both honor the victims of Parkland and to seek safety in all schools.  Click here to continue reading details on Wednesday's prayer service.
