Good Friday Walk at BC High

The Ursuline community is invited to join the "Good Friday Walk" on Friday, March 30, organized and hosted each year by Boston College High School. The Walk follows a 6-kilometer route through the streets of Dorchester that stops at four local parish churches where people gather and pray three Stations of the Cross at each church and hear reflections on those stations. The purpose of this walk is to offer time to reflect for those who participate as well as raising funds for local causes. If you and your family are interested in joining, please contact the walk director at BC High, Mike McGonagle, at  mcgonagle@bchigh.edu. Participants will meet at BC High at 8 a.m. and return to BC High around 1 p.m.

Shultz Guest House Thanks UA
Ursuline Academy got a hearty thank you on the facebook page of  Shultz Guest House, a private dog shelter and adoption agency in Dedham, after Lauren Fay '19 stopped by with dog toys from last week's Mission Day. "Lauren participated in Mission Day, a day where the students at Ursuline Academy work on various projects for a number of service organizations. The junior class spent the day making fabric tug toys and chose to donate them to SGH. We applaud schools and programs that encourage students to become involved in their communities -- and the fact that Lauren's group elected to make dog toys, just shows that there are a lot of empathetic and thoughtful youth out there - wanting to make a difference in the lives of our rescued dogs."
