Registration is Open for the 27th Annual Fore the Girls Golf Tournament Life on Lowder Street Mission Day 2019 Sydney Conti '15 Returns to Educate Students on Dangers of Vaping The UA Department of School Counseling was happy to host Sydney Conti '15, a senior at BC's Connell School of Nursing, when she returned this week to deliver an engaging presentation to all Ursuline students on the dangers of e-cigarettes. Her presentation touched on the physical effects of nicotine, the addictive properties of e-cigarettes, and how they are marketed to adolescents. In short, the students took away that "vape isn't harmless water vapor." Sydney is one of a number of young alumnae who have come back to campus this year to share their experiences in college with current students. We are grateful to her for her research and perspective on this timely topic. Students and faculty welcomed Sydney Conti '15 back to Ursuline this week.
