Ninth and Tenth Grade Retreats Our Freshman and Sophomore classes had their day-long retreats this week, spending time inside and outside of the Reynolds Center on two picture-perfect spring days! The Sophomore Retreat on Tuesday featured witness talks from Ms. Jud, Ms. Dowling and Mrs. Fazekas. Throughout the retreat, the girls discussed the different "truths" they learn as they move into adulthood. The Freshmen Retreat on Wednesday was run by Peer Ministers who also gave witness talks. Their retreat was focused on cultivating true friendships and loving one another.
As part of the retreats, students took a blindfolded "hike" in which they had to shout instructions to each other and rely on each other to move forward. It was part of a theme of trusting each other.
