May 22, 2020 From the President and Principal We hope to see everyone tonight at our end-of-the-year parade. We are so pleased that most of our faculty and staff will be on hand to greet the cars driving through campus. Please plan on arriving anytime between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m., and have fun showing off your Ursuline spirit (there's a prize for the best-decorated car!). Let's end the 2019-2020 school year on a high note!

All In for Ursuline Please Help Ursuline to Finish Strong During the past two months, the Ursuline community has shown what it is made of - teachers who are there for students, and students who are there for one another. We are now calling on the support of the entire Ursuline community in the face of unexpected challenges and increased requests for financial aid. An "All In for Ursuline" campaign will begin next week as our fiscal year comes to a close. Please consider a gift to Ursuline Academy if your situation permits. Look for more details next week.
Remote Wrap-Up Speech Team Finishes Strong at Remote State Finals Like so many others, the Ursuline Speech Team was disappointed by so many cancellations of end-of-year tournaments! However, the Speech world would not quit! Congratulations to the team for competing last weekend at the Massachusetts Speech & Debate League's State Finals, held remotely. Special shout outs for three of our senior team members for their performances: Kendra Miller placed 4th in the State in Impromptu Speaking, Maggie Folwell placed 4th in the State in Poetry Reading, and Hamsa Shanmugam placed 3rd in Informative Speaking. And good luck to Hamsa who will be competing at the National Speech & Debate League's "Senior Open" this weekend. Guest Speaker for Spanish Class Forensics Classes Study Currency on Zoom Mr. Andersen's Forensics classes finished up the year by studying the properties of currency, including how to detect counterfeit bills - a good life skill to know!
