An independent Catholic school for young women in grades 7-12

Within the last couple of weeks, we announced our March 19 day of giving, "All In for Ursuline."  In a short time, much has changed and much is uncertain. Along with many schools, we have transitioned to online learning, and extra-curricular activities in the upcoming weeks have been postponed or canceled.

As a community, we are striving to persevere and to live with faith, courage, and joy in these difficult times. Students and teachers have risen to the challenge admirably, enthusiastically embracing remote learning - figuring out what works best and adjusting as needed. We know that our doors will open again and Ursuline's young women will be studying, singing, dancing, praying, and playing on our campus.

Nonetheless, we recognize that the entire Ursuline community - parents, alumnae, parents of alumnae, and friends - are navigating uncharted waters and have much to deal with on top of their everyday lives.  We are sensitive to what's happening in our country, our world, and right here in Dedham. For these reasons, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our Day of Giving.

We are heartened by the enthusiasm from our initial communications, and remain committed to doing everything in our power to fund the best possible experience to help our students become the young women they are meant to be.  If you had planned to make a gift on March 19, we invite you to do so on our online giving page. Your gift will be counted in the totals when we hold our actual giving day, and as always, we're grateful for your ongoing support of Ursuline.

We offer our prayers for a speedy end to the coronavirus pandemic and ask you to keep our entire Ursuline community in your thoughts and prayers.
