The homepage slider is also very similar to its previous rendition, except it also uses resources. In resources there is a gallery set up for the home slider which can include both images and videos. Videos will get the mute button functionality automatically so there's no extra work to be done for those. Just make sure the aspect ratio and overall size of the video is as close as possible to the images you use.
The point of pride slider is made from several content elements. Each content element represent one slide. To add a new slide, simply copy one of the already existing elements and past it where you want the new slide to be, then change the info within. This is easier than trying to add a new content element from scratch.
Each slide contains an image, text wrapped in an header 3 (H3), and then regular text. The image should have a height of 115px set. Make sure when you select the text that will be the H3 that the editor doesn't accidentally wrap everything in an H3.
I would recommend adding the image first, setting the image's height to 115px (the width will scale automatically), then hitting enter to create a hard line break, then entering the header text, hit enter to create another hard line break, then type your flavor text. Then finally go back and highlight the header text and apply the H3 style. This should ensure that no html tags accidentally wrap around the wrong things.
This BPA acts similarly to the Points of Pride section of the homepage, except some things are located in different places so you don't have to worry about using hard line breaks. The testimonial image is located in the element header, under the design tab. The testimonial name or citation is located in the element footer, also under the design tab in the element settings.
The images need to be square, at least 100px by 100px. The recommended size is 200px by 200px to preserve image quality.
The citation name in the footer is just regular text that has been bolded.
