Katherine Kenney ’11

Katherine Kenney ’11 was a varsity member of the Ursuline swim team for 5 years, from 8th to12th grade. She competed in the state tournament every year, scored hundreds of points for the team, and was an invaluable member of the team.  After Ursuline, Katie earned her B.S. in Health Sciences and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Boston University. Katie is a physical therapist in the intensive care units (ICUs) at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was named to the America East Academic Honor Roll for 2012–2013, the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in 2014–2015, and was a Boston University Scarlet Key recipient in 2015. While at BU, Katie took part in several volunteer and community outreach opportunities through BU Athletics including a reading program during the holiday season where the BU swim/dive team visited local elementary schools to read with the students and donate books. Katie enjoys spending time with her family, biking, hiking, and camping.
