What is the Fund for Ursuline?
The Fund for Ursuline provides Ursuline Academy with its most encompassing fundraising support. Alumnae, parents of current students, parents of alumnae, grandparents, friends, faculty, and staff all partner philanthropically to support the Academy’s ongoing operational expenses. Their combined gifts touch every aspect of the student experience.

Why is the Fund for Ursuline important?
Our current students benefit every day! Our current students are the direct beneficiaries of the Fund for Ursuline. Because the fund helps pay for the best faculty, new technology, campus improvements, and special programming, every facet of their Ursuline experience benefits from the Fund for Ursuline.
It helps us educate young women of all circumstances. In fiscal year ’25, the Fund for Ursuline raised nearly the equivalent of a $2,500 scholarship per student. Without this important philanthropic support, tuition would be higher, and an Ursuline education would be less accessible. A strong annual fund allows the Academy to fulfill St. Angela Merici’s dream of educating young women of all circumstances.
Annual giving directly impacts the school’s operating budget. Gifts to the Fund for Ursuline are put to use immediately to help cover the cost of operations and meet unexpected needs. Having this support allows us to keep our focus on our students and the Ursuline mission of providing educational excellence.
Giving Societies
The Serviam Society: The Serviam Society recognizes philanthropic leadership giving to Ursuline Academy. The society includes donors who commit annual gifts totaling $1,000 or more to the Academy during a fiscal year (July 1-June 30). Members of the Serviam Society are invited to a reception hosted by the Head of School and Board of Trustees each spring.
The Academy Patron Society: The Academy Patron Society recognizes donors who make gifts totaling $1 – $999 to Ursuline Academy during a fiscal year.
All donors are recognized in the appropriate giving circle in the Annual Report of Gifts. Corporate matching gifts are included in your total for recognition purposes.
