About
Welcome to Ursuline!
For more than 75 years, Ursuline Academy has been educating young women through formative years of their lives. Always with an eye to the whole person, our program provides students the opportunity to stretch, explore, and discover their many talents as they begin to gain an understanding of their responsibility to the greater world.
Our approach to education finds its roots in the teachings of St. Angela Merici, who founded the Ursuline order in 1540. Nearly 500 years later, our students are called to embrace the essential and time-treasured values of respect, compassion, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to service. We celebrate the uniqueness of each student, while asking them to unite in a community bound by the motto of Serviam, I will serve.
We challenge our students academically, while making sure that they are supported and mentored by dedicated faculty. We offer a myriad of artistic, athletic, creative, and leadership opportunities that encourage each young woman to tap into her developing strengths.
And most importantly, we celebrate our Catholic faith, urging each student to strengthen her relationship with God and discern her life’s calling.
If you are a prospective family considering Ursuline, I invite you to explore our website to more fully understand what makes us uniquely Ursuline. Better still, come visit our school. Engage with our faculty and staff to see first hand their passion and commitment to our students. Talk with our students and walk our campus to sense for yourself a thriving community of young women, each discovering their strengths while united in a spirit of Serviam.
And if you are already a member of our community, thank you! Whether a student or alumna, member of faculty or staff, parent or volunteer, you make our community strong.
Blessings and peace,
