Marisol Rios Henderson

Marisol Rios Henderson began coaching at Ursuline Academy in 2008 as the junior varsity soccer coach, and continued in this role for the next 5 years. She then moved on to the varsity lacrosse position from 2012 to 2016, and from 2018 to present, also filling in as junior high soccer coach in 2015. In 2018, the lacrosse team received the MIAA Sportsmanship Award; one of the proudest moments she had as a coach was to have the team recognized for that honor. Marisol earned her Bachelor of Arts from Stonehill College in 2005 and currently works as a K-6 Spanish teacher at Blessed Sacrament School in Walpole, MA. Previously, she has taught at Oliver Ames High school, the Coakley Middle School, and Eleanor Johnson Middle School. Through Stonehill College, she participates in various community service activities including an annual gift-wrapping event at Christmas and a backpack collection drive which inspired her to organize her own backpack collection drive in 2020, collecting and filling 65 backpacks for local students in need. She is also an active member of the Parent Collaborative at Blessed Sacrament School, volunteering in a variety of school activities. Marisol is a craft-aholic by night, a big Golden State Warriors fan, and enjoys spending time with her family.
