We are proud to announce that Ursuline’s Varsity Lacrosse Coach, Dave Nicholson, has been recognized as the MIAA’s Division III Girls Coach of the Year in The Boston Globe!

This season, the Bears upset Ashland to make it to the quarterfinals and finish the season 17-4. Nicholson refers to this season of Bears as: “One of the best teams I have ever coached.”
Lacrosse player Meera Raskin ‘26 says, “Coach Dave lit a fire under me when I began playing for him in seventh grade, and from that moment on, [he] has inspired me to give 110% in everything I do.” Raskin recently committed to play Division III lacrosse at Bowdoin College.
Nicholson now has a 51-12 overall record with the program. We celebrate Coach Nicholson for his dedication to his players, love of lacrosse, and success on the field. Congratulations Coach Nicholson and go Bears!
